Heya! Been feeling it's time to upgrade my trusty old system but been kinda out of the game for a bit so could use some recommendations and would be very grateful for any tips :)

Mostly I'm looking for a new graphics card but I'm not sure which one I should be getting. I'm not looking for that super high-end expensive card but definetly something that can touch that line and give great performance and visuals.
For the other components I'm really stumped any ideas would be great!

This is my current system specifications:

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790
Motherboard: MSI H97M-G43
RAM: 2x HyperX Fury DDR3 8GB
Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280 3GB
Monitor: ASUS VG248

Thanks for the answer! I did notice quite hefty prices on the cards :/ I looked at the link and like you said quite expensive damn.. I googled the card and got this:
https://www.elgiganten.se/product/datorer-tillbehor/pc-gaming/EVG10708ACX/evga-geforce-gtx-1070-sc-gaming-grafikkort-8g?scid=5_EXT_PRICECOMP_PRISJAKT_EGAB
And currency wise from that site to this one (SEK) is half the price! But is it the same? If not.. is this one I maybe should go for?

OK, I can't relate to that currency and how it compares to the US dollar. Sweden? But I suppose it is possible that prices in your part of the world are not as badly affected by the crypto-coin mining and Chines gaming surge as they are in the US. Yet, anyway.

Yeah you're right swedish currency! Basically I changed from Dollar to SEK on New egg and it got me to 8500 SEK, after that i googled it and it was 4500 SEK.. That's why I was wondering if it was the same card? I see a lot of resemblance but the first one is ''black edition'' +bunch of words (hehe)
Seems to be a good card :)

Yes, unless that website isn't legit, that is the same card, or one nearly the same. (Evga makes slight variations on the same card and gives them a slightly different part number). According to the part number that site shows in their specs, the card is the 08G-P4-6173-KR.
Still listed at $500 on Evga's website (out of stock, no doubt), but $1140 on Newegg's. If the price is right for you, go for it.
