Question Recommendations for a DVI-D to Displayport adapter/cable

Hello, I am in need of recommendations for a DVI-D to Displayport Cable or adapter.
I currently have an old BenQ XL2411Z. 144hz, 1ms. I went and purchased a DVI-D to HDMI adapter but when I went to change the refresh rate and response time in my Nvidia settings, it sits only at 60hz and the response time is like 3-4ms. Would there be any recommendations for a cable that would let me get all of my monitor's performance out of it?

Close to $100 for an adapter and reliability is questionable. Would be better off buying new monitor tbh.
