Question Recommendations for a good biometric fingerprint reader ?

Hi,

I have a Lenovo laptop with Windows 11. My entire setup is as ergonomic as possible. Wireless keyboard and mouse, multiple displays, book and paper holders, etc. Not gaming or anything like that. More like...studying for the bar exam...

Now, I need a good fingerprint reader. My mouse is used on a small table seperate and apart from the desk. I would like something wireless, if such a thing exists...something that I can put right next to my wireless mouse, instead of having to go to the laptop fingerprint reader. If there is no such thing as a wireless fingerprint reader, a wired one would suffice.

I am also open to anything that would make my workflow easier...for instance, I saw a reader that would also open encrypted files to save documents securely.

I would like something wireless, if such a thing exists...something that I can put right next to my wireless mouse, instead of having to go to the laptop fingerprint reader.

Most smart phones nowadays have fingerprint reader in them. Why not use that for your needs?
