Question Recommendations for an 8TB HDD for storage ?

Western Digital was always my first choice, I always remember Seagate as unrealiable on longer run. Seagate is now in stores some 10-20% cheaper than WD.

I plan to buy for PC storage (not NAS) something above WD Blue or Seagate Barracuda series. What is your opinion on WD Red Plus, Seagate Exos and IronWolf Pro?

Standard WD Red and Seagate Ironwolf are SMR?

WD Red is SMR. WD Red Pro and Plus are CMR. I still prefer WD.
