Recommendations for motherboard // processor upgrade? (gaming)

Hey there,

I'm curious if anyone would be willing to help me by suggesting recommendations for some hardware upgrade. I was thinking of switching to an intel i5 (maybe i7?) processor + mobo bundle package, but I'm not to sure and don't want to make mistakes. (~$350 budget). Trying to upgrade into something more suitable for gaming.
I definitely feel my current specs are bottlenecking my GPU.
