recommendations for upgrading gfx card to a 900 series

Hi,

Looking to upgrade my current GTX 770 to the 900 series, just need some recommendations and if compatible with my system specs below, price range of $500 max or lower. Thanks.

Specs:
Motherboard- Asrock z77 extreme3
CPU- i5 3570K @3.4ghz
PSU- Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-620 620W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V

The new graphics cards are out literally in a few days from now. You'll get around 10-15% (judging by history improvements), for basically the same price. Chances are the market is going to be upside down, and you might/should find current 980 Ti's for much cheaper if you look for used cards.

Oh true, might just wait a few days until they get released. Would my PC be able to handle the new cards with the current specs i got?

They might be announced, NVIDIA haven't said anything as far as I'm concerned. Do monitor the GTX 980 Ti's hard as used cards though. You're very likely to get a good deal. Yes, your PC is powerful enough.
