I am buying a 240hz monitor, i have a 144hz atm. This build will be used for FPS gaming so I want to capitalize on my monitor as much as possible. Any help on lowering the overall price but maintaining the same or close to the same specs?

I would pick Ryzen 3600X rather than i7 8700k it is 100$ less have same cores , threads and the performance overall is the same. B450 Tomahawk need a bios update for the cpu to work you can update with the bios flashback+ feature without an older cpu , ask a store for a bios update or if you can find the "MAX" version that is out of the box compatible. AMD 5700 XT perform a bit better than 2070 with the same money. Of course you can keep the nvme and the case. Also Ryzen 5 3600X boost at almost the full potential so there is no need for overclocking and has a decent cooler so i would just dont buy the noctua cooler.
