Howdy folks!

I'm looking for the best budget PCIe or USB wireless network adapter, preferably around $30 (and obviously the cheaper the better). It's for a new build for my mom. She doesn't game or stream, so ultra performance isn't necessary - I'm just looking for something that works stable and without known issues.

I don't live near her, so I'm not sure on her exact router model. I know it's what her ISP (NextLight) gave her, which is insanely fast 1,000mbps down speeds. Her rig will have a MSI B450M Mortar mATX mobo.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
I agree, I use the USB Wi-Fi device to trouble shoot laptops mostly that are brought to me stating the wifi doesn't stay connected. to eliminated a bad wifi card internally., but in his case the Wifi device plugged in back would be fast install for his mom pc.

I bought this: TP-Link Archer T9UH AC1900 High Gain Dual Band USB Wireless WiFi network Adapter and it is excellent, although a bit over your price range; I paid about $55 but it takes a weak signal in our house when nothing else came close.
