Im upgrading from 60hz 1080p IPS monitors finally and in the market for a new display. BUDGETS SUB $500
Minimum specs im looking for are:

then i saw a review video with benchmarks on response time and LG 27GL850 / LG27GL850-B im assuming past it in almost every bench the guy showed (Hardware Unboxed - Asus VG27AQ REview)
Im leaning more towards LG 27GL850 now per the video about response times.
Both are sub $500, asus currently $429 vs LG 449.99. Which one is better ? OR is there any monitors with the above requirements you'd recommend MORE than either of these two ??

- 144hz or HIGHER
- prefer IPS or equivalent for the vivid colors. I like the WOW
- 27" or higher (coming from a 23"/25" wanting lil bigger)
- Mainly used for FPS Gaming (CS Go example)
