Hi everyone, I'm building a PC soon in Canada, and I am more focused on gaming and multi-tasking performance (so I think an i7 would be good). However, I'm sort of lost as to which i7 to choose.

For the CPU, i'm looking for something no more than 400$ CAD.

As for the total build, I'm guessing around 2150$ CAD.

Due to kaby lakes bad tim the 6700k should OC nearly as good. Plus no need to update bios if its working good already.

Are you aiming for high fps (>100) gaming or 60fps/Hz? For 60Hz gaming and multi tasking I would go Ryzen, the i7 only really pulls into the lead for high fps gaming.
