I'm looking to upgrade my 2013 build to something that could support triple monitor gaming. I currently have an Asus VS238H-P 23.0" Monitor and would most likely just buy two more with of those along with a monitor mounting stand. I'm trying to keep the upgrade under $1000 including monitors (which are ~$130 each). My questions are as follows:
1. Does it make sense to buy a second GPU to run alongside my 7870 or just buy a whole new one (or two) entirely?
2. What GPU is recommended if I want to future-proof this setup for a few years?
3. Lastly, are there other areas of my build that should be upgraded as well to avoid bottlenecking?
My current build is as follows:
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
XFX Radeon HD 7870 2GB Video Card
XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Asus VS238H-P 23.0" Monitor
Thank you in advance for you help!
