Wondering what a good GPU for good price is.Nothing AMD.
Completely depends on what resolution you're playing at, what refresh rate your monitor will hit, & what games you're playing.
In general, if you're looking at 4K, absolute minimum would be a GTX 1080, preferably a 1080TI. At 1440p (or 1080p/144Hz), you'll want a GTX 1070 (only get the 1070TI if the 1080 is more expensive).
At 1080p, however, you can get the GTX 1060, but Tom's Hardware currently recommends AMD's RX 580 (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-gpus,4380.html). Right now, the
only reasons to pick the GTX 1060 instead of the RX 580 are availability & price (https://pcpartpicker.com/products/video-card/#c=373,391&sort=price&page=1)...but even then...
