Recommended Overclock for i5 4670k with Noctua NH-D14?

Hey everyone,
So i've never overclocked before and plan on getting the i5 4670k and using the Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler. What would be the highest, but still safe, overclock speed I could run it at?

You'll probably get a stable 4,1-4,2 Ghz at 80-85C when running Prime95 for some hours. With the fans on max.

Though, there is little point in overclocking unless you need the extra performance. What do you plan on using your computer for?

With that said, you might win the silicon lottery and get an amazing Haswell that can be overclocked to 4,5 Ghz on air. But the chance is so small I wouldn't even think of it.

My 4770K caps at 60C running AIDA64 with a Hyper 212 EVO Cooler with push/pull fans and a well ventilated cabinet.

Though I'm a viking, my room is temp is around 15C.

I got 4.4 Ghz. stable at 1.26 V and 95°C using IBT.

Well I said 4,1-4,2Ghz@80C, the guy above said he got 4,4Ghz@95C.

That's the best I can summon for ya. Expect at least 4,1-4,2Ghz, and if you're lucky the silicon lottery might give you a chip that goes to 4,4-4,5Ghz on air cooling.

That cooler is quite expensive. You could choose to bump up to a Corsair H100i. With that you would have no problems bringing the CPU to 4,5Ghz at nice temps.
