I am thinking about buying the sapphire r9 nitro 4gb gpu,but i am not sure about my PSU.I have a 550 W PSU and sapphire recommends a 500 W.My pc specs are:
Motherboard:MSI 760 GM-P23 FX
CPU:AMD FX unlocked 6300
RAM:2x ddr3 transcend 4gb dimm 1333 retail
(My current gpu):Sapphire AMD Radeon 7770 1gb ghz edition.
Do you think my psu can handle it?
Feel free to correct me and thanks for reading :)

Solution
If you have a poor quality PSU, I would replace it no matter what GPU you use. They are more likely to fail and damage your other components. For a gaming system, you really want one from Tier 1 or 2 from the list above. Something like the Seasonic S12II 620 or XFX TS 550 should do the trick and aren't terribly expensive.

I kinda have a bad quality psu 70% efficency 🙁 .Should i buy a new crosair psu and get the r9 or should i get a gtx 960?
