Recommended Power Supply

I am looking for a PSU to power my new build that consists of a FX - 8350 and for now a GTX 970 but eventually dual 970, it can be semi or fully modular. I have no idea how to calculate the wattage so I came here hoping for some help.

Those cards take a max of 150TDP, since you will SLI total 300TDP plus everything else around 500.

that list will help you in choosing a high tier PSU. I would recommend 650 watts to be safe
