Recommended PSU for Fury x

Solution

Hard to say until more information is available. I haven't seen anything about the power consumption of the Fury X, but AMD cards tend to consume a lot of power (I know the Fury series is supposed to be somewhat better, but still) and it uses two 8-pin connectors, so 750W may not be enough. Also, the CX750 is not a particularly good PSU. If you're going to spend that much on a graphics card, get one that's at least gold certified, probably 850W+ if you want to get a PSU now and be on the safe side.

Waiting is probably the best bet. If you're right about that wattage, then a CX750 would probably not be a good choice.

Hmm I think you may be confusing TDP with actual power consumption.

Well because both company make it so for us? Because some said nvidia were listing actual power consumption instead of TDP and some said it was AMD that doing so. Personally i just look at review in regards to actual power consumption. And if you go to amd website they no longer specifically mention the wattage of their card. Instead they only listing what kind of pci-e power connector needed by their card.
