Recommended specification to build up a gtx1080 system

please somebody tell me the all requirement from case to every single hardware to build up a gtx 1080 system,because i wanna build one.
This is my current system specs right here


NZXTguardian 921 B1 mid tower
Gigabyte B85M-D3H motherboard
i5 4440 4th Gen
8GB RAM
R9 280x TRIX 3GB OC
no ssd
1TB hard disk


please let me on the advice to whether make some minor hardware update or a complete makeover,just help me up i want to run a lot of upcoming games.so i think gtx 1080 is good choice for me, what do you think???

That will run a 1080 no problem. That said it may bottleneck a bit but you may not even notice the issue.

What make and model PSU do you have? Your CPU so the weakest link but shouldn't be much of an issue

a cpu and maybe a power supply upgrade ( make and model of what you have?)

since you cant overclock I would drop in a i7 4790


that's it, and you would have a truly beast pc
