Recommended upgrade from R7 360

I was wondering if the AMD RX 460 would a suitable and future proof upgrade. I would be mainly gaming at 720p. Any help is appreciated.

No, that would be a sideways move. I'd suggest the RX 470 if you have 450W PSU w/a 6-pin connector and a decent CPU.
