Hi, I'm looking for a bit of advice on what cpu/mobo to upgrade to for as cheap as possible?

core i7 920 C0 running at 3.8 Ghz
Asus p6t mobo
Hyper X fury 2x8Gb 1600Mhz
rx480 4GB at 1320 Mhz
500GB SSD
60Hz monitor

Looking for best performance gaming ie PUBG. Wondering whether its worth upgrading to lga 1366 cpu like i7 990, upgrading to better lga1366 mobo or getting a mobo/cpu bundle for as cheap as possible to allow for 144hz monitor?

no, that platform is too old for gaming. my friend uses a i7 960 and rx380. he is having issues holding up 60 fps in 1080p. especially the snow map.

the cheapest gaming choice is pbbly r5 2600/b450/8x2 3000 ram.

Yeah, maybe I'll have to scratch the 144hz aspirations for a few years :D
