Recommended virtual memory for my windows xp.

I have a PC running windows xp with 2.96go in RAM.
I currently possess 2 disks:
C drive with: 68.3go.
D drive with: 80 go.
Should i just use the recommended virtual memory that windows suggest or should i exceed that ?

Since you don't have the max (4GB) RAM I would say go for the high end of the recommended 1.5X to 2X RAM and put a static 6GB swap file which ever drive is least used.
