Record from pip tv tuner

hello I wonder if there is a third-party program or any other way to record shows while in PIP mode I have a external tv tuner enxtv-x2 encore, have a 24 lcd dvi/d-sub and i cant find any way to record shows with this tuner thanks.

What unit? I dont know what that is, the tv tunner does not support recording but there must be a way to record from it, I hope.

Make?, model?, and what software are you using as this is what will determine whether you can record or not.
