Record input from DVI

Hey all! So I was using Bandicam and I noticed that there was an option to record from an HDMI device. This got me thinking... is it possible to record say, a PlayStation from the DVI port using this? Or is it just one way.

No, ports on standard GPUs are strictly for output only. Recording software works by grabbing frames from the GPU's memory, not from the HDMI/DVI/DP/VGA port.

If you want to record video from an external source, you will need something like an Elgato video capture card.
