recording minecraft with 2,5 dual core

is it possible to record minecraft(above 30fps) with a 2,5 ghz dual core processor
if yes how?(what recording program(and settings) and minecraft settings(higher fps mods))

other specs:
64 bit
RAM 4 gb
1tb hard drive
512 mb NVidia Geforce 9000 series

Recording gameplay takes a huge hit to your performance, one of the most popular programs is Fraps however you will find that with those specs you will not get above 30 unless you turn all of the detail and draw distance to a minimum and run the game in windowed mode and shrinked on your screen which would be very difficult for you and the viewer to see. My suggestion would be to upgrade your processor to at least a quad core. Another thing you will need to take into consideration is the space your video files will take up, most programs will record 1GB per minute which then eats up your storage very quickly, so don't be surprised if you suddenly loose a lot of space after recording.

thanks for your reply i will upgrade my qaut core and i have 1tb hdd so recording space isnt the problem
