ASUS Z87 Pro mobo, Intel i5-4670K CPU, Windows 10 Home 64-bit, BIOS and Windows 10 updated today without resolution of the problem. Nor did putting the BIOS back to normal, non-over-clocking.
Sometimes, the fans spin, but the computer does not turn on display. Without touching the display cables, sometimes it will boot.
When it boots, it does not beep, but it shuts down, then after a few seconds boots up. Then, it always says I need to enter F1 to recover BIOS settings. I followed ASUS's recommendation and selected return to "load optimized defaults." However, it says no changes made when I do that. It then boots up to Desktop. Turning off computer, then restarting it gets me back to the shutdown for a few seconds, then boot to the F1/recover BIOS settings message. I get this same situation even by exiting BIOS without changes.
What can I do to get a boot one time without that pesty message.
