Hello, I recently bought a msi ge62 276 laptop. I tried installing an SSD and apparently I did it incorrectly. My computer stopped booting properly and a blue windows screen popped up saying "the required device is disconnected or innacessable". I tried checking the boot order but nothing was out of the ordinary. I then removed the SSD and then the bios could not even recognize the hdd that came in it. I am now trying a recovery from a 32gb pny USB. The recovery is taking a long time and has been stuck at 71% for the last hour. (3 hours total so far.) does anybody know what's going on?

Was the installation for your copy of Windows 10 performed via the free upgrade path or through a licence key? If via the upgrade path then you should revert to your older OS and then change up hardware, reinstall older OS and then upgrade to Windows 10. Usually things like this take time and a sudden power loss can cripple the system even more. Do you have your critical data backed up on an external drive? Have you also tried getting into Safe Mode to recover your files prior to initiating the system restore?
