i have a very important Notepad file i save some information in, last time i visited this file is 3 days ago 31/10/2018, i have a shortcut of the file in Desktop and the file is Located in D:\Docs , 'Docs' is a folder.

today seems the original file does not exist in D:\Docs folder, only shortcut in Desktop.
1- i made 'Search' for the file in D:\ and C:\ hoping it has been removed by mistake, but result is 0.
2- i tried many software like Recuva, RecoverIT, and EaseUS and Scan recicleBIN and D:\ and all of them shows some deleted files but not the file am looking for.

what should i do, and why they don't show the file am looking for

Solution

You can do simple backup procedures and its FREE
For instance google drive, dropbox etc
You'll have to give some context in order to energize Tom's crystal ball.

How is the computer used ? who has used it recently ? who has access now ? and what have you done on the computer the last few days ?

You can always load up the back up copy of the important doc, eh ?

none use the pc except me
nothing happened to the pc except i left a 3years old kid moving the mouse for 5 mins, he could move or delete the folder but the softwares cannot get it as recovery means it can be draged somewhere else, but i 'search' for it and no result, i don't have many folders almost - i checked every corner but nothing.
software can't find it in recovery as deleted and i can't find in in the disk

Which is sadly, why you need to CLOUD and backup things that are important.
I think Getdataback is good, but the more you use your computer, the less likely you are to get it.
You need to have a complete scan of D drive, which may take a while then it may find your files.
When he was clicking the mouse, he may have renamed it?

i assume he renamed it or moved it, small chance to be both but can still happen.
i tried to test if a shortcut can still find the original file by making a new example, no matter how i change names or where i move the original file the shortcut still can find every new path if the file is still on the disk, which means my file does not exist, then why all these softwares couldn't recover it, it has been only 3 days

also made .txt search and its not there
is there any inaccessible folder by search that the folder got draged in maybe ?

there are absolutely no folders in desktop as he can drag the file in, i could get search result because desktop belongs to C:/ drive.
i let go everything and made another file , i lost some data but what can i do. no file in drive no recovery
