I have a W7 64bit PC
Connected is a D-Link DNS 323 NAS drive .. 2 x 1 TB HDD in standard (non RAID) config.
I accidentally deleted some files ,,, stopped using drive to avoid overwrite.
The drives map into W7 as NTFS format .. but in reality they are Linux EXT
Anybody familiar or know of a way to undelete these files? .... normal Win undelete programs will not work on networked drives.
I have put the HDD in my PC and although Win does not see it .. if I run "DiskInternals Linux Disc Reader" I can see it and all its folders.
They do not allow move/copy/undelete as they presumably want to sell you a copy of "Disc Internals Uneraser"
My only way fwd I can see (so far) is create a boot CD of Linux sysrescd .... and try using that, but my knowledge of Linux is nil.
Hence asking if any free programs out there,
