Question Recovering data

I reconfigure raid 0 to raid 1 for my 2tb hard-drive(2sets) and its giving a prompt of no boot device available. The hard drive are running on ubuntu OS. Does it mean I have lost data and how can I recover it?

I'm surprised that there was a way to go from 0 to 1 without losing data as 1 will be a smaller array than 0.
