Question Recovery after os reinstall

My computer started acting up, so I decided that I'll reset my pc.
I allways back up everything just in case but I forgot to copy my pictures from my C: drive to a usb.
They obviously got deleted but even with multiple softwares I still can't find any of them.
Is there a way to recover them?

I've sent it to a professional (at least as far as I know) but from what I've heard the data that (hopefully)will be recovered is going to be corrupt.Is there a way to fix corrupted pictures for example?

Fixing corrupted images is like trying to unscramble an egg.
Not gonna happen.
