Recovery Data Help

Ok, so 15 minutes ago, I had 177mb left of my drive in my PC. Now, 198kb....... I got a popup saying about "No more recovery data can be stored." What is this recovery data and why tf does it take up so much? And if it isn't important, how can i delete it?

Time to use the disk clean up wizard and delete anything you don't need from your computer. Your HDD/SDD should have no less than 10% free at any given time. Ideally this number should stay above 20% to operate at the best performance.

That only got me about 9mb..

Then you need to delete stuff that you have downloaded, programs you aren't using, etc. Free up another 100mb or so manually, then use CCleaner to see what else you can get rid of that you don't need.

Now I have 12gb, why does this vary so much?
