I've created a recovery drive from a download I've found online, due to this computer running Windows 7, and I need a Windows 8 recovery drive to fix my computer. When booting from the recovery drive, I'm prompted with setup options: I select "Troubleshoot" "Repair your PC" and then click next. When I'm asked to choose a target OS, there are no options. When I select "See more operating systems," the computer is restarted and I have to start over. This is the Recovery Drive ISO I'm using. I'm using the 64 bit version for Windows 8.

Thanks for any and all help, and if there are others who have better options regarding Recovery ISO's, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks again,
Regenrok

you cannot repair windows 7 using windows 8 software. you need to get windows 7 disk to repair windows 7.
a windows 8 recovery drive will only fix windows 8 software.

so I don't know why you say you need a "windows 8 recovery drive to fix my computer"
