Recuva urgent help needed

I am trying to recover HUGE amount, about 2TB, of data.
I was on the rash when I started Recuva and did not check options. So, now when 14 hours scan is complete, I checked options and under Actions --> Recovering I checked RESTORE FOLDER STRUCTURE, right below that is SECURE OVERWRITING option, what does it mean, what part will be erased?

Or should I just rescan my HDD with all options checked first?

Please help.

Edit. I don't want to overwrite anything. Once recover is complete, I will just reformat drive and that is it. So, how to avoid that or iti is automatic?

Restore folder structure means when you recover the file and creates all the same folders instead of just one folder with ALL the files in it.
Secure overwrite means it wipes the data from source disk after you recover it.

I do understand what it means Restore folders and Overwrite.
But I don't want to overwrite, so I can use other tools to double check drive again as Recuva scan shows 60 ignored files and about 25 unrecoverable files. Can I refuse secure overwrite somehow?

And, OPTIONS, do I have to select options prior to scan (I don't remember seen them) or I can select options after the scan is complete?
