Recycle bin files disappear?

Ok so i accidentally deleted a game i was playing cause i though it was a copy so it went to the recycle bin and i clicked empty recycle bin but then i decided to double check and canceled but then the 18GB folder just disappeared? It's not in its original file location its not in the recycle bin and my hard drive didn't get free space back. So where did it go?

i would say it continued with emptying the recycle bin and that file has been deleted

The only problem is i can't it won't let me empty it 🙁 .i put another file in there and deleted it that didnt help though

this would be useful except its not deleted just somewhere i can't find it. plus to do this I'd need another computer and on top of it all I already rebooted.
