So I tried to play red alert 2 and it is playable but if I alt tab or window key out and go back the screen is black, also if I don't even do that and just play for like 10 minutes my screen will be frozen and I have to log out and log in my computer. I tried the ddraw.dll fix and that did not fix it. I know I can install windows xp on a different partition and that will work but why should I.
Virtual machines is not good for playing red alert 2 as its weird because for a reason when I tried with virtual box I can't move my move up and down to move the map so its unplayable and I can't play with vmware workstation as the box is way to small. It goes to a small screen as soon as I launch the game in vmware.
