Hi, I just assembled my new PC and when I start it a red and orange LED light up. The pc work perfectly, it just takes a little time to start up.
Specs:
CPU: Ryen 5 7600
GPU: RTX 3060ti
Mobo: MSI B650 Gaming PLus WIFI
RAM: XPG LANCER DDR5 16gbx2 600Mhz
PSU: Gigabyte B700h 700W

Steps you could try;
  • Unplugging PC from power cord, waiting for a few minutes, removing CMOS battery, then after about 30 seconds putting it back in.
  • Reseating the RAM.
  • Updating BIOS to the latest Version.
  • Relocating the RAM to slots 2 (A2) & 4 (B2)

Do the lights remain lit throughout or do they appear and then disappear?

AM5 builds do take a little time when first powering up,( typically 30-40secs to boot,) you can enable memory context restore in the BIOS to speed it up but this can cause stability issues. My motherboard also cycles through the LED's but after the little beep, they all go off and the system boots with no issues.

They appear only at the boot of pc.
