Red and white cables

i am trying to connect the power switch/led and reset 2 pin connector to the mother board, is the red wire the ground or white? or does it not matter?

it is asus z68 v LX, fractal design define r3 and antec trupower new 650w

The white wire is probably the ground. If there's a white wire on every other connector that you're plugging in, then that's definitely the ground.

The switch will work either way, bu the LEDs will light up only if connected properly. Although no harm is done when you connect them the wrong way. Nothing critical or life taking
