Specs:
i7 4690k
Asus z87a motherboard
Corsair liquid cooling (h60)?

Okay so I just replaced my old i5 4670k with the i7. It doesn't boot or post bios, nothing on the monitor at all. I have triple checked, the processor is in place properly. The red cpu light stays red as soon as I press the power button. The PC turns on, just will not post. I put the i5 back in and it works perfectly. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Found the problem. I had already updated BIOS prior to putting in the i7 (sorry should have put that in the thread). But I had to put the i5 back in, and run a BIOS utility update in windows. After I did that I put the i7 back in, and it's working great. Now time to OC! :D Thanks for the help though.
