J Jbenthin Reputable Feb 7, 2016 3 0 4,510 Jun 10, 2017 #1 I bought an Asus Z97-AR and an i7 4790k. I have it all built and when I power it on everything lights up and the fans spin, but it doesn't post and the CPU LED stays red. I don't know how to go about trouble shooting this problem.
