Red CPU light on motherboard

Hello! I have a Asus 970 pro gaming/aura motherboard. When I start my computer, everything seems to be working except my monitors. I then saw that the red cpu light has appeared, telling me that there is an error. Is there something that I am supposed to do here?

Hi,
Try clearing the CMOS.
If not working, try testing different power supply. If still red LED, then try RMA-ing both board and CPU.

How would I clear the CMOS? I'm looking up a guide online but i'm not sure if it is correct for my motherboard.

Unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a minute.

Tried doing that and it didn't work. The CPU and motherboard are brand new. The CPU is a AMD FX 8350 4.2ghz and the motherboard is an ASUS 970 Gaming. Are they compatible?

What would you recommend I do now? Everything seems to run properly. The fans turn on, I hear my hard drives booting up.

Still red CPU LED? If yes, then I'd RMA both board and CPU, if under warranty.
