I recently built a new pc and I’m having an odd issue with the red cpu light coming on the motherboard and the PC randomly not booting. It only seems to happen sometimes and only during the first attempt to boot. After turning the pc off it will typically boot up with no issues.
I’ve had no issues once the pc is on and or playing games and seems to run flawlessly. They are all new components so I’m a little confused as to what’s going on.
Also as a side note the first time I booted the pc I got a message saying that a new cpu configuration was found and I haven’t seen that message since. Did I possibly recive a returned motherboard that could be causing the problem? And would clearing cmos help?
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
