I put all in low, DLSS Ultra Permance, 1920 x 1080, but im getting 38fps

RTX3080 16GB
i9 11980HK
32GB RAM 3200MHZ
Windows 10 Pro
direct connect to wall
bios and driver updated

Only RDR 2 Run like this, In others game run perfect like: Age OF eMPIRES 4, Microsoft Flight Simulator, COD Warzone, etc

UPDATE: Fix it, I go to Virtual Memory and Changed it.

It'd help the community if you could explain how you did what you did?

The process of elimination, for me at least, would've been to make sure that the motherboard's BIOS was up to date, then checking to see if the OS is updated(windows 10, 21H1), then reinstall all relevant drivers(except GPU) in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator, then lastly use DDU to uninstall GPU drivers, reboot to safe mode then reinstall GPU drivers in an elevated command after downloading the latest off of Nvidia's support site.

Hi, I'm having the same low FPS problem with RDR2 and this very same laptop. Could you explain exactly how you fixed this please?

Thanks

Hello the guide is this:

-Go to my Pc
- Right click, Properties
-in the left corner, go to advance system config
-In the advance option tab go to Performance, click in config
  • Again in advance option, go to virtual memory, change
  • uncheck the automatic adm
  • in the custom, start size mb put the recommended that indicate below, and the maximum size mutipier 1.5 x ( recommended size) "you can do for all the disk
  • applied, accept and the system will ask you to restart.

Thanks for sharing. So for our machines in this case,

Recommend is 4963
Initial size: 4963

X 1.5 = 7443

Maximum size: 7443.

Press set button. Apply. Restarted.

I double checked the new settings were applied and they were. I tested RDR2 and unfortunately there was no gain in FPS.

I am playing with an external 4k monitor.

As an extra note, I tried switching from DLSS off to DLSS Ultra performance and again there was no FPS change. Remained at 25fps average. I have discrete graphics in MSI switched on also.
