Red lashing icon next to power button on a new PC.

Hey, guys today I picked up a new PC from the store and after setting it up I saw an icon that looks like a semi-circle on top of a square next to the power button that is flashing red. Can someone explain to me what symbol this is? I have never seen it.

Probably the storage activity indicator light. Bascially lets you know when something is being read or written from/to your HDD or SSD. It should flash a lot when Windows loads and afterwards it should after a period of idle time flash periodically or not at all.
