Hi, my issue is that, when i switch on my computer, all the fans will start and the gpu will light up, but when I plug it into a monitor, it will not display on the monitor. There is a red cpu led indicator on the motherboard that tells me that the cpu is failing somehow. can someone explain why this could be?

Specs:
gtx 1080
550 watt psu
ryzen 7 2700
gigabyte x470 mobo
16 gb of 3000 speed ram

so far I have tried 3 different cpu cables, reseated/checked for bent pins, and changed graphics cards (to a 1060)

Solution
Because you just got the MB back, and I think the CPU may have problem. Or go to local PC shop ask for help, let them test the cpu/MB for you.

I actually just rma'd my motherboard I got it back yesterday. The situation was that I got a evga 750 watt and 1080 gpu and when I installed the psu, it seemed to have fried my motherboard and psu so i rma'd both. it is possible it also caused issues with the cpu?
