[SOLVED] Red LED on cpu sign on motherboard, fails to boot.

My first ever PC build: specs here

MSI B450 MAx
GTX1660 Ventus
Corsair veng LPX 32 2x16
Ryzen 5 3600
Thermaltake Smart RGB 80+ White 700W,
corsair carbide spec 05




Everything connected properly, when turning on white light appears on side of motherboard, before shutting down and turning red shortly after. Red LED comes up for CPU, before switching to GPU and then to boot. Fans all working for CPU, case and GPU so I think they are all receiving power.



The system simply doesn’t boot, cannot enter bios or anything. Have tried updating the bios for the motherboard for the USB but no luck. Have tried re-assembling every part, CPU, GPU Ram. I wonder if the power supply is faulty or simply doesn’t work.



Please help any suggestions or ideas !!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Breadboard the system and work with one stick of ram only. Speaking of stick of ram, which slots were you working with for the ram? You might want to see if your can source another PSU for the build.
