[SOLVED] Red light after installing new hdd

Recently added a new HDD to my PC, after plugging it back in it won't turn on, I'm sure I installed it correctly (as Ive installed drives before)


The Pc doesn't show any video to my monitor, no bios logo etc

A red light is switched on on my motherboard

My specs are
I5-9400f
Gigabyte ud motherboard
Rtx 2060
24gb ram
4 storage drives in total
(2hdd 1m.2 and one ssd)

Any help?

Is it a brand new HDD?
Have you tried other SATA ports?
Have you tried a different data and power cable?

I have tried 2 Sata ports, but not different power cables, will try now

Does it act normal if you try and run without it?

It seems I fixed it, turns out that the data cable fell out, seems that one end of the connecter was dodgy so I swapped it seems to be working now. Thanks my friend ☺️
