Hey! I'm having issues turning on my computer the motherboard seems to turn on a red light over the cpu text. I went and got a new cpu since I figured I was due for an upgrade anyways but it seems that didnt really solve the issue.
My computers specs are:
Motherboard: B450 Aorus Elite
Gpu: Geforce gtx1650 Dual series 4gb
Cpu: Amd Ryzen 5 5600 Am4
Psu: Smart series 500w
Some extra info of things that ive attempted:
Ive tried both cpu's new and old making sure theyre correctly mounted.
Made sure to try to disconnect the gpu to see if the cpu would turn on to check if theres sufficient power.
Most importantly I noticed that the pc turns on just fine as long as the cpu power cable isnt connected. Im not a technician or anything but would it make sense to assume that it could be something related to the motherboard?
