*Context*
A few weeks ago there was a power surge and I realized that I should've turned my psu off or unplug my computer (which I did) but it was too late. After the power was back on, my computer wouldn't boot and there were 2 lights on my motherboard that were lighting up red, the gpu and ram light. I messed around with this horrible motherboard for like the longest time and got nowhere. I left it off for a few hours and turned it on before I went to cry myself to sleep and it magically turned on. I've only ran a few stress tests and that was it.
*Current Issue*
Yesterday my computer wouldn't turn on again and the there was 1 glowing red light on labeled DRAM. My motherboard is the ASRock B550M-C. My ram is the Corsair Vengeance (DDR4, 32gb, 3200mhz) and I stress tested it as recommended by a friend. It is running at a static 2133 MT/s instead of 3200. He says that might be an indicator of faulty ram or maybe the motherboard? I don't really know because I haven't really heard back from him. What do I do?
