Question Red lines on screen after restarting PC following a crash ?

So I was playing Overwatch 2 when my PC suddenly froze so I had to restart it through the power button. After the windows logo screen, I heard that some fans started to make loud noise as if it was switched to max and some red lines started to appear on the screen. The screen resolution is also stretched and it doesn't match my monitor (which is 1600x900). I opened up my task manager and saw that my GPU wasn't displayed there so I tried to restart it. After restarting, my PC was completely fine and the red lines isn't there anymore.

I was wondering if this is a sign that my GPU is dying ? This is the first time that it happened and I got this PC for over 2 years now.

SPECS
GPU - Nvidia GTX 680
Motherboard - ASUS Maximus Extreme
RAM - 8GB
CPU - Intel Core 2 Extreme Q6850

Its either bad drivers or a dying GPU imo. I had something similar happen recently but I just reinstalled my graphics drivers and haven't seen it since. But I also had screen artifacts like this a few years ago and my GPU died sooooo yeah. I'd just keep an eye on it.
