Red Pixel Flashing (PS4 to monitor)

Hello all, I have a VERY annoying problem at the moment. When I plug in my PS4 into my Dell monitor, I get these strange red pixels that flash around on my screen. I use a DVI -> HDMI converter to hook it up, very simple but I'm not sure as to why this problem is occurring.

Is it the converter? Is it the monitor?
Please help!

I had that problem too on my pc,,
it's just your cable not your monitor at all. trust me.

Yes, I managed to score a proper converter all as 1 cord, not a little dongle to plug in and stuff so now it works fine! Thankyou!
