Red tint 1st ever boot

I have just built a new PC. I have just booted it for the 1st time and it has a slight but very noticeable red tint. The mother board I am using is the MSI PC Mate Z79 and I am using a ASUS GTX970 Strix graphics card. Also I would like to ask how can I add a 2nd HDD to my system I have put it in the case and plugged the power and SATA cable and it's not picking anything up. Any help would be much appreciated.

Is this the first time this monitor has been used? If so it could just be the monitor. Are you using VGA? If so it might not be fully seated on one end.

Nah I was using a HDMI as it was a TV also I have fixed the Hard Drive issue
